Mission & Vision

MARSHALL PRAYER FORCE MISSION STATEMENT:

To organize Christians in this community who will commit to pray daily for the individual assigned to him or her. All assignments come from the Marshall Police Department, the Marshall Fire Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safely Troopers. These individuals each agree to have us pray for them according to our official recommendation.

Our prayer focus is for constant safely for the individual and his or her family. We pray for quick wisdom in every decision-making situation tempered with supernatural self-control. We fervently ask that God provide each officer or firefighter with an unhindered transition from the physical and emotional demands of the job into a peaceful, prosperous, and happy home life. This solemn task will be accomplished through pure faith in God’s abilities to hear and answer our petitions, integrity, confidentiality, and the unbridled love of God flowing through us.

As they provide the obvious physical line of defense that protects us and restrains total chaos, we will,  by the power of God through prayer, provide a supernatural hedge of protection and guidance and  honor to them in every manner possible.

VISION STATEMENT:
To seek change in the prevailing social attitude of disrespect and disregard toward those who have been placed in authority. The individuals who enforce our laws while serving the public are invaluable.
This change will be accomplished through our dedicated sincere prayers and by displaying the Marshall Prayer Force window decals on our automobiles. This will demonstrate our commitment and appreciation to those men and women who serve so well.
